It's obviously option three.

Maybe I am a undercover bungie worker? Or maybe I am just a random member who is bored...

I now really want to create a list, of the characteristics that forum ninjas have to have.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Already done, I narrowed it down to two traits that every one of them have:

1. Must like beer
2. Must love liqour

Real answer: Nobody could tell you, because there is no distinct way. Binge drinking alcohol is encouraged... a lot.

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

Ctjl a mod? I thought the word Janitor indicated a lower order caste and not a moderator position i.e. Janitor < Absent Member ;)

In all truth, however, the selection process is unknown, but it should not be something to lose sleep over, or effect your views and discussion on the site.

Not making these threads.

Also, read the rules, know them well, and help the mods by making sure they are enforced... like reporting the bad people!

He's right, I'm less than dirt. :D

Also, yeah, just report rulebreakers... like me... lol

Key

You should be fairly active (though quality > quantity every time), you need to demonstrate an understanding of the rules, you need to catch the eye of the web team as a member who would moderate efficiently, and, most importantly of all, you need to fill out a check for $1,000 payable to Recon Number 54.

ooga booga boooh

It takes massive cojones, and the ruthlessness to just ban on site.

I have not touched a drop of either in 10 years.

Back to the drawing board...

OT: Most of it has been covered already. The Septagon sure is smert today. Basically, anything you'd expect a generally good member to usually be doing, is what moderators have always done for the most part.

Though, there are a lot of other hidden factors that I can't go into (serious, The Webmaster will eat his bourbon-drenched cheerios out of my newly opened up skull). So, no one should actually focus on being a ninja. You should interact how you want to interact on these boards. The main focus should be having fun, getting into some good discussion and cementing your place among us all as Bungie fans. That, is the most important thing to remember.

It really depends on how much time you have spent and how many things you have done on the community.

Break down, every single one of you.

Years of very active membership with little to no rule breaking and have the general respect of the community. Also, the bungie.net team has to like you. You don't plan on becoming a moderator, you are just chosen.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

If you ask to become one, you will never be one.

I've been trying to get him to do that for years... But you know cam, if you tell him to do something, he will not do it to spite you.
