Have any other group leaders experienced this? I just spend the last 30 minutes and three seperate tries wrestling with this contraption...only to get failed results. The news post shows resized text...some with links erradically small and other even smaller (where it's so tiny it's blurry). Also, when I used the "Post to Forum" feature, none of the links continued to work.

Frankly, it's almost like this wasn't tested. Sure, I'm using Mozilla and maybe this runs better in IE...but Microsoft's anti-Netscape sentiment aside, it seems foolish to develop such an integral piece of software only to flat-out ignore a good number of your active viewers. Archronos, what's up man?

Perhaps you should do a bit of research before going off.
It's the new control. Has nothing to do w/ MS hating Firefox. It does this in IE also.

It seems to resize after every color code change.

However, a workaround I've found is to apply your color changes and hyperlink edits AFTER you get done typing the text.

Copy paste the stuff in Word if you want to see for yourself.
Edit while you type, and the font size changes.
Edit after you get done typing, font size stays the same.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

It has nothing to do with the control or Microsoft or anything else. It has everything to do with the stylesheets used by bungie.net and how the fonts on bungie.net are defined to be relatively sized.

Basically, don't nest formatting tags. Type your text, then format it, and don't select one block of text, format it, then set another block of text that includes part of the previous block with a new format (that's nesting).

In normal use (we use it to write top stories, by the way), it works great. But we don't try and go crazy with formatting like a lot of you do. Just because there is a bold button doesn't mean everything needs to be bold. Keep things simple and it will work as you expect.

And, for the record, it was tested, on multiple browsers, and we knew about this issue going in. Most people seem to be okay with it, you just can't go crazy with formatting.
