"Just as the wave cannot exist for itself, but is ever a part of the heaving surface of the ocean, so must I never live my life for itself, but always in the experience which is going on around me.” - Albert Schweitzer
I would like to expand on what I said earlier. In my previous post I stated that I have become less active since my first few weeks here at bungie.net. This, in a sense, is true, but overall I have actually grown more active. When I first signed up for bungie.net it was so I could obtain the septagon next to my name in Halo 3. After awhile, I began taking screenshots, and before I knew it I was joining private groups, and taking part in the screenshot community.
Eventually, the screenshot community began to separate, and people were forming new groups, lead by new people, and compiled of screenshot takers who were new to the game. I would just like to point out that I was never very good at taking screenshots, however several of the people I knew were truly remarkable screenshot takers. I usually just copied their ideas (something I am not proud of).
Anyway, after some time I grew apart from the screenshot community, and started visiting the public forums. I was new to the public forums, but my fondness grew quickly. I began to develop friendships with new people, and after a while I began partaking in Halo 3 Matchmaking with people I met on the forums. This continued for quite sometime, and then we all moved on to Halo: Reach.
Months went by, and as you can imagine, I began to grow tired of Halo: Reach. I have recently run out of XBL and my Xbox 360 is in storage.
In conclusion, I was not very active upon my arrival here, but eventually I did become very engrossed in the community, and began partaking in it more.
As of now, I have begun to grow further from this community, and have not been posting as frequently. That is why I say I have been posting less than when I originally started. Technically, I did not post at all when I first signed up, but when I say 'originally started' I mean when I originally started posting.
Well, that is my story.
