What do you think guys, the next Bungie IP will be released also on the new Nintendo home console, the WiiU?
Oh dear I hope not.

It seems to be Xbox 360 and PS3 at this stage, and maybe PC. Judging by the jobs page.

Why do you say ''i hope not''?

I'm curious

ISU Cyclones!

Once the Wii U gets more off the ground and its tires have been kicked so to speak I could see the possibility. If the Wii U manages to hit the sweet spot with third party games that the Wii lacked then it would be a huge appeal to me.

I mean all the best multiplatform games WITH all the Mario, Zelda, Metroid, ect. I can handle? Yes please.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

. . . The dominant gaming market is hardcore games . . .
Wow, definitely not! Casual games are the biggest market by far, in part due to the availability on every little electronic device everyone carries with them any more.

But no, I don't think Bungie will be going Wii. The 360 and PS3 are a fair bit more similar to each other than the Wii/WiiU is to either of the other two, so that'd be easier and the audiences are more similar. Plus, they haven't been posting job openings for the Wii.

This thread is definitely not about handhelds, this is about serious game consoles, and hardcore games dominate those...

The Wii U is supposed to challenge the PS3 and 360, so it's going to want to pull people from the PS3 and 360 so it's probably going to integrate similar features and add some of its own.
You're right they haven't posted job openings for it... yet. We don't know if they will in the future though.

Dating Age

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

Is it possible? Absolutely. Of the times Activision has confirmed the Bungie IP's platforms (360/PS3/PC) it was before the Wii U was unveiled.

On the other hand I think it's safe to assume Bungie's next game is going to be heavily reliant on an online infrastructure. The WU's online isn't going to be up to par with XBL, PSN, and Steam.

Also just because Bungie doesn't have any job listings for the Wii U doesn't mean it's not happening. Remember Activision can also outsource the Wii U version.

Right now though it's 360, PS3, and PC.

Again,do you know what is the WiiU?
Okay, I exaggerated on the content thing.

But that controller is just retarded. If I wanted to use an uncomfortable boxy iPad-like screen to control my games and not a controller designed to fit human hands, I'd buy an iPad. Also, I have a 52" flatscreen; I don't need more pixels.

It looks big, it looks clunky, and it's damn unnecessary. Can Nintendo stop with the gimmicks and just give us a controller for once?

This account is now retired due to WLID changing. Webteam needs to fix that, seriously >.>

Even outside of portables, "casual" is the largest, and thus dominant, market. Having games that appeal to casual gamers is why the Wii has sold so well despite poor third party support for "hardcore" games and missing out on almost every major multiformat game that requires higher hardware specifications to run.

All reports from E3 that I've seen indicate the Wii U screentroller is quite comfortable to hold. In addition as a Wii owner, and thus someone who has used a Wiimote and it's nunchuk attachment several times, I can personally attest that there is no pain or exploding limbs when playing games with my hands more than a few inches apart. Infact it feels pretty nice.
