. . . The dominant gaming market is hardcore games . . .Wow, definitely not! Casual games are the biggest market by far, in part due to the availability on every little electronic device everyone carries with them any more.
But no, I don't think Bungie will be going Wii. The 360 and PS3 are a fair bit more similar to each other than the Wii/WiiU is to either of the other two, so that'd be easier and the audiences are more similar. Plus, they haven't been posting job openings for the Wii.
This thread is definitely not about handhelds, this is about serious game consoles, and hardcore games dominate those..Even outside of portables, "casual" is the largest, and thus dominant, market. Having games that appeal to casual gamers is why the Wii has sold so well despite poor third party support for "hardcore" games and missing out on almost every major multiformat game that requires higher hardware specifications to run.

Again,do you know what is the WiiU?Okay, I exaggerated on the content thing.
But that controller is just retarded. If I wanted to use an uncomfortable boxy iPad-like screen to control my games and not a controller designed to fit human hands, I'd buy an iPad. Also, I have a 52" flatscreen; I don't need more pixels.
It looks big, it looks clunky, and it's damn unnecessary. Can Nintendo stop with the gimmicks and just give us a controller for once? All reports from E3 that I've seen indicate the Wii U screentroller is quite comfortable to hold. In addition as a Wii owner, and thus someone who has used a Wiimote and it's nunchuk attachment several times, I can personally attest that there is no pain or exploding limbs when playing games with my hands more than a few inches apart. Infact it feels pretty nice.
