It's likely controlled by one of those linked javascript files or a CSS sheet with a 403'd text file with with the lines in it.

<title>
Bungie.net : Prepare to Drop
</title>How we see it (user end).
<title>
Bungie.net : <code that randomizes titles></code>
</title>How it really is (server end).
When we make a call to the homepage, the computer "randomizes" the "<code>," and then gives it to us.
Yeah probably. Didn't think about that...

edit: I found it fine, it's right at the top in the tags it's supposed to be. (I went in when it said "We Finding Ling-Lings Head."
<title>
Bungie.net : We Finding Ling-Lings Head.
</title><meta id="ctl00_metaDescription" name="description" content="Bungie.net is the Internet home for Bungie Studios, the developer of Halo, Myth, Oni, and Marathon, and the only place with official Bungie info straight from the developers." />
This is occasionally true, but most of the time, (at least for me anyways) what is in the title tag is different.

How is it that the title of the Bungie homepage is never what it says in the page code?
Warning:
You're probably not going to like the answer.
Yes, I see...
