I am going to have to go to a place with no internet soon. I was wondering since I have my profile on a USB stick will I be able to earn achievements on my profile from Halo 2 (PC), then stick the USB back in my Xbox 360 and play games on my Xbox 360 with the gamerscore I got from Halo 2 (PC)?

And if I get achievements on Halo 2 (PC) and Xbox 360 games when I sign in to Xbox Live will I get to keep all of my achievements?

I know the USB was formated to only be used on an Xbox 360 but I was wondering if since I am using it to sign into Halo 2 (PC) will it work for that purpose. Does any one know? If I have to do steps please list them. Thanks.

I really do not see why you need the USB just for recovering your Xbox Profile, because you can do that by simply recovering your Xbox Gamertag on Halo 2 PC.

But here is the thing, if you have no internet...you cannot get the achievements. You need to be signed into GFWL (Games for Windows Live) for any of the achievements to be unlocked, including the Campaign ones.

Yes. My Xbox Gamertag has the Halo 2 PC achievements mixed in with all of my other console games. Signing in and out of GFWL and Xbox Live will not harm your Gamerscore.

At least Dusk tries to help when he can.

You just post the first thing that comes to your mind.

BLLASAHHH BLALAAHH!!! I LIKE PIIEE!! LAWWLL!!!

Erm... Just play offline using the Live account you use now... play the game.. get all the achievements you want... once you're back home just sign into Live again... all the achievements you earned offline will be updated to your Live profile and will show on your Xbox 360 also when you sign in.

You don't need to make it as complicated as you're making it out to be...

How can he possibly get the Halo 2 Vista achievements offline when you need to be connected to Games for Windows Live in order for them to unlock? H2V achievements cannot be earned offline.
