My clan is called The Death Clan.

Requirements to join: Must be at least 14 years of age, must have a mic, & must be at least a Lt. Colonel. If you meet these requirements & are interested in joining please message me on Xbox Live.

Visit our Bungie.net group for more information on requirements & info on the clan. Keep in mind that if you do join it is required that you join the Bungie.net group after you have talked with me on Xbox Live. This is to keep you on a list of clan members & also to consider you a member of the clan.

Another requirement for joining the clan involves not necessarily changing your bio, but adding to it. Your addition to your bio is very short & involves our clan's membership ranking system. The ranking system is very similar to the membership ranking system on Bungie.net, ours ranging from "Member" to "Noble Member", with 6 ranks altogether. Depending on your rank as a member & how active you are in the clan, it can take from 2-4 weeks for you to be promoted from your current position.

Member- This is your starting rank. You have recently joined the clan & are generally inexperienced as a member. Members with this rank are watched closely by not only the Leader & Co-Leader, but also by higher ranked members. It generally takes about 2 weeks to be promoted from this rank.

Heroic Member- The second rank in the clan. After about 2 weeks, Members who are active at a decent rate & have shown their potential for about 2 weeks are promoted to this rank. You have probably improved at the game some since joining the clan after playing Matchmaking with the clan often & maybe even learned a useful strategy for Matchmaking.

Legendary Member- The third rank in the clan. Legendary Members have worked for their promotion for at least 2, maybe 3 weeks since promotion to Heroic Member. At this point, you know the rules, you are an example to Members & Heroic Members. Legendary Members have shown that the Leader, Co-Leader & members of higher ranks in the clan can put their trust in them. Not only are members of this rank more trusted, but Legendary Members are also allowed to recruit members for the clan in Matchmaking.

Honorable Member- The fourth rank in the clan. From Legendary Member, this rank takes at least 3 weeks to obtain after being promoted to Legendary member. The name says it, those of this rank & above are honored by the Leader & Co-leader. You are highly experienced as a member & at the game as well. Honorable Members are allowed to recruit in Matchmaking & they are also allowed to train members of lower ranks.

Honorable Legendary Member- The fifth rank in the clan. This rank takes at least 3 weeks to obtain, possibly 4 weeks or so since promotion to Honorable Member. Honorable Legendary members have been around the block for a long time & have a large amount of knowledge about the game & are also generally very skilled. Honorable Legendary Members are not only given the privileges that Legendary & Honorable Members have, but they are now allowed to lead on the battlefield in Matchmaking.

Noble Member- The highest & final rank in the clan. Noble Members are the most experienced & most trusted members in the clan, some possibly even the most skilled. At this point, you are basically right behind the Leader & Co-leader. You lead on the battlefield, you can serve as advisers to the Leader & Co-Leader, you are basically the big boys in the clan. Noble members needless to say also have all privileges that Honorable Legendary Members have. This rank is only given to those who are considered exalted as members by the Leader & who strive to further yet increase their potential. The best way I can describe the skill of the people who earn this rank, people with this rank sweat much more in practice than they bleed in battle.

The way the membership ranking system has to do with adding to your bio is that if you join, your bio must visibly say "Member of Death Clan", "Legendary Member of Death Clan" or whatever your rank in the clan is.

We frequently have clan parties in custom games & matchmaking, so if you do join, we hope you enjoy your stay!

Love playing custom games?

Well come join Customs Evolved

We are group dedicated to playing custom games, map testing, game nights, etc. Anyone is welcomed to join, and we hope to have as much fun as possible!

Here's a good tip, the longer the read, the more people are just going to press the Back button. Think about it, who is going to spend 5 minutes just reading about your ranks when they could have just took that time and actually joined your group or something.

Ever heard of keeping it short and sweet? Right now its long and bitter. The more I go into this, the more I think its not a suggestion anymore, and something you really need to fix if you want more members.

i agree with the previous post: Keep it short.

Also, I'm not liking the name: The Death Clan. Cliched, emo, ect.

Just a thought.

I have not. I havnt said anything to you lately other than to stop spamming me. Either way, the same goes for everyone else who commented on this, I SAID IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN JOINING.

The information on the clan itself is relatively short. The information on the clan ranks doesn't even have to be read. And I understand you're only trying to help, & not to be mean, but remember I said "If you're interested in joining" not "If you would like to point out every tiny little mistake I made."

  • 09.29.2011 4:57 PM PDT

Honestly I don't care about nor do I even want to hear your negative criticism. The way you put that "Not liking the name either", you're just being a jerk. As much as I don't want to hear it, as I also said, I really don't care. I understand it's just a thought & all, but like I told that other guy & as I tell everybody who does this, remember I said "If you are interested in joining" not "If you think my posts are uninteresting or you don't like the name of my clan."

Also even though it COULD help me recruit members by shortening my posts, I'm still getting a considerable amount of members with my current posts.
