And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Hahaha. Gullibility galore.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Quiet you.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for the Bungie employees to troll us by posting oversized pictures that screw up the page layout?

Not only do you troll regular people, but you doubly troll those who want the ability to post pictures because you are saying "This is why we can't have nice things."

No, this post wasn't very on-topic. That said, there's not really a topic to discuss other than serious business and joking, and I think my post is close enough to be appropriate.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

“Dinkleberg!” is a catchphrase used by the character Dad in the Nickelodeon cartoon show “The Fairly Odd Parents.” In the show, Dad has an unrelenting hatred towards the well-to-do and happy neighbor, Dinkleberg, who gets blamed for everything bad that happens. The phrase is used in a similar way, by giving the blame for everything bad that happened to Dinkleberg. This can vary from mundane day-to-day problems to natural disasters.

For Carnage Apply Within

They think that they have pacified Ireland. They think that they have purchased half of us and intimidated the other half. They think that they have foreseen everything, think that they have provided against everything; but the fools, the fools, the fools! — they have left us our Fenian dead, and while Ireland holds these graves, Ireland unfree shall never be at peace

Although it would be tempting.

This thread is a well thought-out and good point by an outstanding member of this community, and I don't believe we should be so light about it's implications.

Kudos, Achillies; you are an inspiration to us all.

I could not agree with you more, Achilles1108. I believe members of this community find it acceptable to complain about 'trolls' (we have got to come up with a more civilized word) when they let it happen right under their noses. If it were not for the quote fest that follows after an employee posts, I would say that people are not aware of what they are actually saying.

For example, when an employee posts a picture followed by a clever utterance, people brush that off as another one for the hilarity books. What they are not aware of is that members of this community, whether old or new, will mimic the behavior of someone they believe to be of authority.

They gripe over actions such as this when a non-employee (or 'Member') performs them, and in some cases find it necessary to create a thread regarding the instant. However, these members are not aware of the fact that employees implement these behaviors through their posts.

To summarize, if the employees encourage us not to act a particular way, they should not act that way themselves. And for all of those people who believe it is okay for an employee to do it simply because they run this website, they are sorely mistaken. Employees should act how they wish for us to act. Otherwise, they are just hypocrites.
I agree with you 100%, I know its their website and all but if they want their members to follow the rules then they should really be doing the same, but thats not going to happen because their just hypocrites.
