Subject: Installation's defensive systems...

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

So your evidence to say that Humans are not necessarily all Reclaimers is because some Humans were simply not referred to as such in the extremely small number of times where Humans and monitors/Forerunner controls are present together?
No, Cryptum, the Miranda/Johnson example, and the fact not all humans are referred to as reclaimers.

Along with all those other Marines that you release on High Charity? I guess they are all Reclaimers too?
Yes. Reclaimer is a sub species of humanity. It does not have to be a minority. Hell, it could even be a majority. We have no way of measuring this because humans are not advanced enough to tell the difference.

Page number?
I'm not going to spend my saturday night skimming through Cryptum trying to find one sentence. If I come across it again I'll post it though.

I'm not getting what you are trying to point out.

You state that not all humans are reclaimers, then turn around and basically say the opposite.

Edit: Truth wasn't even at the library when Miranda and Johnson was captured, so how would Tarturas now this stupidly small distinction?

It seems like you are clinging to this idea but not doing a good job of it.

If it was anything less than a majority then it would practically change what Halo is I think.

We should know better, because we are better.

TheForerunners don't have a weapon with a range in lightyears. If they did it would be next to impossible to hit anything smaller than Saturn and would require a good measure of foresight. This is, of course, because their weapons are light based. It would still take a light based weapon a year to hit something a lightyear away.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Every human Forerunner machines have had a chance to communicate with have called humans Reclaimers.

I am referring to defense weapons mounted on the Ring itself, not the pulse or the Line installations. Just plain old light weapons. The Line also targets ships in slipspace, not the material universe. The same physics don't apply. The fact of the matter is that light weapons can't go faster then the speed of light.

But maybe those defense systems aren't light weapons but plasma or even projectile weapons(just like the enforcers missile weaponry)
