iChat is Apple's answer to AIM. You can text, voice, video chat. It is supposed to work with AIM and Jabber. Do you think it could work with Xfire?

I'm not using iChat on my Mac, or any other IM program. The idea of people popping messages to me while I'm working/playing on my computer is disturbing. I would consider setting up a .mac account to get iChat up and running if I could get it to work with Xfire.

The voice feature is what I'm interested in.

Nope. Sorry. Go check my sticky at the top of the forum for Xfire info.

Oh, and if you want an all-in-one app that allows you to talk to people on AIM, ICQ, MSN or Yahoo!, go with Trillian.

Xfire's one of a thousand less-well-known IM apps out there. Even in the gaming community it's not too well known, and outside of the gaming community, its unheard of. Hence, you won't find too much interconnectivity or stuff like that.
