Subject: Bungie Recommended Art Colleges?

Hey... Although ive been playing Halo since Combat evolved i never bothered to really do much on the forums until now xD

Anyways, Im not quite sure if this is the right place to say it (I apologize if this is the completley wrong forum and i messed up royally by not noticing something xP), but w/e; Does anyone know if Bungie has a recommended list of colleges to go to? Im a canadian highschool student in a more then decent art program and i plan to move to the west coast states' to eventually hitch a job at Bungie as a concept artist (lets hope a job opens up in that category by then!) or at least something related to that which includes me love for drawing.

The only college i can think of is VFS, but only because my brother went there and told me it has an excellent gaming department. =P

I'm hoping to find a college near or in the city were Bungie resides itself; I dont want to (although am willing to) move to some crazy place for further education and have to leave all my new friends behind a second time, just to fly over to the most epic gaming company in the world. :P

any adivce or help would appreciated. :)

Your post is fine in this forum. While the Community cannot necessarily speak for Bungie, try PMing urk or Jeremiah with the question, as they work for Bungie and can probably give you a better answer than we can.

Or, one might post here. ;)

If your high school has a "more than decent" arts program (although let's be perfectly honest...it's a high school arts program lol), I would consult your advisers and art teachers as to where would be the most feasible option economically/geographically that is also congruent with your GPA.

Halo 3 (31st), ODST (14th) and Reach (4th) Mythic Conqueror. (Mythic is Solo, Legendary, All skulls on + scoring on and no deaths/saves).

Bungie isn't in the business of reccomending colleges.

At the end of the day, it'll be all down to your skills and personality (whether you gel well with the other Bungie staff, ya know?) not what college you went to.

Personal advice? Pick the one that has the best reputation for teaching the subject you're interested in. Though at the same time, a lot of it will come down to your own motivation and practice.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

I don't think Bungie has any favorite colleges, they are more interested in ability than where you went to school, but I think they prefer someone who comes from a true university than somewhere like Full Sail.

This should help.
