Subject: Banned For No Reason

My gamertag has been banned from earning credits in Halo: Reach absolutely no reason. It has been almost a week now. I was in the middle of a game, and when the game ended, I didn't get any credits for it. I hadn't betrayed anyone, said anything bad or left any games, so I was extremely confused. I want to bed. When I woke up I tried to get on and got a notification saying that my account AND my console have been banned from earning credits. It's been 5 days. I emailed xbox live customer support and was told "Please do know that Microsoft will not ban a gamertag without overwhelming evidence that the gamertag was used to violate the Code of Conduct or the Terms of Use." I was then told that they didn't have any information as to why I was banned.. So much for overwhelming evidence.. The only thing I can think of is this 12 year old boy tried to add me as a friend and when I declined, he got really angry. If I got banned because some child decided to report me out of rage.. this is absolutely ridiculous. Day 5 and I'm still banned for no reason, when will it end?

No.

Would be great if Bungie was in charge of the bans at all.

You guys don't seem to understand that Bungie has nothing to do with Halo anymore.

We should know better, because we are better.

You are about to have your thread locked for posting in the wrong forum. Take it up with the Halo Waypoint mods.

Hmmm, well your game history is, how do I put this, interesting, you have played a lot of SWAT lately and in some games you've done OK in others it looks like you might have AFK'd.

Although AFKing does not usually end up with a credit ban unless you've done it alot. But as someone else has said, you need to post this on the waypoint forum now.

Perhaps messaging a moderator might OP a better look.

How would messaging a Ninja help? They are volunteer mods for Bungie's website, nothing more. They have no influence over even Bungie's games. How would they have influence for something 343i related?

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

This is the wrong forum.

If I put pancake mix in my X-Box 360 Disc drive will it make pancakes?

This is the wrong forum yes but however, you don't get banned from one complaint.
