I thought it would be cool if they would be cool if in halo 4, they make a sort of beast mode basically reverse firefight. Basically where you can vote on maps, and factions to play as. The maps would just be similar to firefight maps, the factions would be covenant, flood, and sentinals. Here is how I would like the gameplay to be like for them:
Covenant:
Elites: When playing as an elite, you have the same controlls as when playing as an elite in halo reach.
Brutes: Brutes controlls are also similar to elites. The only difference is that they can take much more damage, and have no energy shields. Instead of the shield display, they have a display of their armor on the top left of their screen. Basically you see each peace of armor. When a piece of armor is fired upon, it will gain damage and turn red. After when the armor piece is destroyed, it will dissapear from view and the brute will take damage if shot in that area. Unlike elites, brutes do not have rechargable health. When as a brute, all of your armor is destroyed, you will go berserker mode. In berserk mode, your speed, jump height, and your mele is quadrupled. The downside is that you die much more easily, and you can no longer shoot your gun with accuracy.
Engineers: When playing as an engineer, you float around the map in third person. You can mark targets for your ground allies like the remote drone in homegfront. You can heal the health and armor of allies who cannot recharge. Anyone within ten yards of you automatically gets an overchield. If you are shot, all your abilities are taken away, and you get a ten second window to get as close as possible to an enemy before exploding.
Skrimishers: Skrimishers move very fast, and are extremely agile as well. By pressing A, you can leap forward doind a barell roll, and you can climb any surfaces. Your health does not recharge, and you have no shield, but you make up for that with your speed and agility. Skrimishers are also third person.
Jackals: With Jackals you get a giant shield that is Immune to regular bullets, but not realy heavy weapons. You are not that fast, but you are extremely accurate. You have target fixing which means your shots always go for the head, and aim on target. When you do not have your shield, you will have a carbine, needle rifle, beam rifle, or focus rifle which are ten times more accurate in your hands. You can charge the plasma pistol twice as fast as any other species.
Grunts: Grunts are -blam!- badass. As a grunt you have regular weapons, and realy low health. Even though your health is realy low, it does recharge. So if you get hit and run away, you can come back later and not be as damaged. All grunts can press a butt on which sends them into suicide mode. Basically their speed is trippled, and you charge at the enemies with your grenades until you either pull the trigger to explode, make contact with a wall, enemy or ally(be careful), and explode, or press RB again and throw both grenades away in random directions.
Drones: Drone controls are similar to banshee except no boost, and you can turn around and fly backwards any time you want without thinking. You are able to pick up marines and ODSTs, and then drop them on the ground from great heights. You are also in third person.
Hunters: As a hunter, you are always realy slow, except for quick bursts of speed in the mele charge, but those only last for about three seconds. You have infinate bottomless ammo, and can always switch between your assault cannon, and your fuel rod cannon. If shot in the front you are invinciple, but your health goes down if shot in the back too much. You also spawn with an AI companion hunter who watches your back, but dies very easily. Hunters are first person.
Zealot: Zealots are exactly the same as normal elites, except they can call in drop pods carrying weapons and ammo, and vehicles. On some of the very large maps, they can even call in a scarab.
Alright that's what I got for the covenant, and I'm going to wait a little while before I work on sentinals and flood.
