Where's the neither option?
I like the possibilities of Halo 3, but it's overly frustrating when the key to a setup (i.e. AI collection on The Covenant) depends mostly on the AI. I'm also disappointed I can't have ally support in the AA gun megabattle on The Storm and that there's an op pelican on Sierra 117. That thing with the missiles could have been useful in Reach, but it's not needed on H3, because the AI would have been distracted by the Pelican and the AI aren't very intelligent. I wanted to assassinate that Brute Chieftain God damn it!
As for Reach, LNoS infinitely spawning AI battle had potential but so many things go wrong with it (i.e. lack of checkpoints, scenery blockades are difficult to setup and maintain, so damn hard to get a Seraph, difficult to have the advantage of surprise, op pelican ruins everything, only 1 vehicle (what happened to the Ghost?!)) so it's not worth it. Plus the fact that the Demo has no checkpoint save option or skulls. Releasing the Demo was a huge mistake, because it impedes future enjoyment for players like me (there are little to none). But I am looking forward to TotS. Perhaps that will redeem the failure of LNoS.
