I think that in Halo, defiling a corspe is perfectly acceptable for two reasons.

1: The "victim" doesn't STAY dead, and the player has a chance to exact his/her revenge.
2: The "victim" is a rigged 3D render biped, made of pixels, and polygons in a first person shooter game, not a living breathing carbon baised lifeform.

The whole notion was prabably created by n00bs that could rareley get kills to show dominance over their rare victories. It's like a superiority/infieriority ritual that says: "I got a kill score off you and I'll make sure you don't forget it."

So get over it, it's not that big a deal in the game.

And if you're dumb enough to try it in real life, then I recomend you see a therapist before sanitarium employees come looking for you.

it might be ok to do it in the game, but is it morally right? is it just stuipd?
i was playing CTF, an enemy had just killed my teammate and was corpsehumping him. i had a shiper, so i lined up my shot and nailed him.
thats why you shoulnd't corpse hump, becasue it makes you an easy target for snipers.

Let me answer your question with a couple of my own: Is it morally right to senslessly gun people down for competition? Is it morally correct to loose lives because of a flag, skull or a piece of territory?
No, probably not, but that's why we play video games. Halo gives us a place where morals and a sense of integrity don't apply.

...And yes it does make you a sitting duck to snipers.

What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

Yeah. Seriously, teabagging is acceptable in Video Games. I do it all the time in Halo. I do admit, I have been killed while "distracted", but generally, i just hit ctrl 3-5 times and run off.
Unless im mad at the person. Then I continue till im sure hes respawned, or his body disapears.

But in real life? Hell no.
Oh, side note-
EBAUMS WORLD SUCKS.
