All the mods that are here have been around for at least a year. I remember there were only 2, I think (Might have been a couple more) when I first joined. Then they added a few more because of all the new people joining. (This was back in April.) They also have ninjas at their command. But you don't really ever want to be a mod here. It's haaard. ;)

Mods are a selection of the most mature and helpful members on Bungie.net.

You joined in July dude so I don't know what you're talking about. So if the mods may have been members for a year now but haven't become a mod until this year. I'm almost possitive that Maka became a mod this year.

You don't become a mod. Bungie picks you to be a mod.

I remember goweb with a normal avatar, saying that he was waiting to get mod powers.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

That's right. My plumage is brighter than yours.

Ive been trying to become a mod for a while. From what Ive learned, you have got to be extremely helpful around the forums and chapters, no flaming, know the rules, respect the rules, and enforce the rules. Bring something new to the Column. Ive been trying for a while

The way I figure it, if Bungie wants people to be mods, those people will be mods.

I'd imagine Bungie might be picking some new mods in the near future when Halo 2 comes out, due to the massive amount of new members that will join.

Don't get your hopes up, however the people that would become mods would have to have a very early member date (like hangbrain) to be one.

personally I was highly active in the Myth community so I didn't get a chance to join the forums very early =- ( so it's not like I have any chance either.
