Subject: Is posting too much a bannable offense?

ATTENTION MODERATORS. My latest ban (14-day ban from Qbix89) is not legitimate, take a look for yourself. Please review this before considering me a "repeat offender". Thank you.

Ask spartain ken (for obvious reasons).

Racism isn't wrong if it's funny.

Well that depends on one important factor.

Mod bias.

If a Mod doesn't like it, they can ban you for it, regardless of what it is. I guess it just comes with the title.

What spectagon are you in?

Should be.

No, not really. You can post all you want, provided you follow the rules. If you reply to 1000 topics, and all are not rule-breaking topics themselves, you stay on topic, and don't flame or spam you'll be fine.

If you reply with utter nonsense, it will be considered spam, and you run the risk of a ban. If you're following someone around to harass them, you'll be banned. The same follows for all the rules really.

If you're talking about creating topics, well that kinda changes things. Topics have more signal and noise ration than simply posting. You could make one or two inane topics with no discussion value, and not run too high a risk of being banned. If you make a lot of them, you run a high risk of being banned for spam. Especially if you post nonsensically through out the threads.

So, post all you want, just think about what you're posting before hitting submit. That's all anyone really needs to do, on this board, and pretty much all other boards.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

As long as your posts are coherent and reply to the OP and/or another (relevant) post in the thread and seem to have taken more than a minute or two (maybe even... three!!!) to think about before you posted, you can post every 31 seconds for all I care.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

If your threads have absolutely no post/discussion value, it would be considered spam. Each moderator has a different opinion on what they consider spam, but each idea is very close to each another. Basically making a thread entitled, "MY ROFL COPTER GOES SOISOISOI!" or something similar would be considered spam. Or if you mass produce the maximum amount of threads a day about the same topic, that would be considered spaming the forums.

Also, the forum ninjas/employees of Bungie reserve the right to ban you for any reason. You have no right's play nice.

Just don't make useless posts.

He likes evilcam as a mod.. And is happy he's back. I didn't even know him before his "return" and I already like that he's "back". I have a life outside BNet.

Indirectly. It tends to follow that the more you post, the less thought you are dedicating to each reply.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Spam is bannable, so i'm going with yes. I don't see it being too easy to post a really high amount and have all of them being quality posts.
