they should extend what you can do with polls.
ex. instead of only being limited to one vote, be able to change the options so you can vote for multiples(depending on what your polling fore)

you guys have any other ideas on what to add to the polls?

perhaps when they come out with their "next big thing" they can update the website more, even though it's fine as it is right now.

(just adding this so people don't have to read everything)
it also frustrates the crap out of me when you can't edit the polls, but i can see how that can easily be abused..........

also votes should count as "posts"

“Dinkleberg!” is a catchphrase used by the character Dad in the Nickelodeon cartoon show “The Fairly Odd Parents.” In the show, Dad has an unrelenting hatred towards the well-to-do and happy neighbor, Dinkleberg, who gets blamed for everything bad that happens. The phrase is used in a similar way, by giving the blame for everything bad that happened to Dinkleberg. This can vary from mundane day-to-day problems to natural disasters.

Polls kill threads because nobody ever bothers posting.

should poll votes be considered a "post" then?

Key

A poll is a multiple choice opinion question of which you can see everyone's answers. Answering more than once would only corrupt the system. There is never a situation where answering more than once would be warranted and would still keep the poll legitimate. Polls are polls are polls are polls. There is no more you can do to it. It's like trying to reinvent the wheel.

Yes. It should bump the thread up if someone votes.

i didn't mean answering more then once. i meant like from the above which would be things you would be willing to buy(not a good example but same concept) then you pick multiple certain ones, then vote. one vote, but for multiple things.

O I C.... well in that case I guess it makes sense. But other than that I can't see what we could do to polls. Your idea is a good one though.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I don't see what the point of a poll question and a thread subject is? I've always made the title of the thread the question to the poll.

i guess if you really wanted to you could post a topic to talk about separate from the poll, but i don't really see the point either. but i guess it's just there to give you options.

I'd have a good feeling people would spam polls in that case, but not a bad idea Op...
