No, I'm keeping recoil because it also puts a clear distinction of range effectiveness on the weapon.

In CQC recoil is less harsh because the opposing players is close enough that it won't matter if the gun moves upward, you're fighting in near point blank range so you just want your bullets to hit... doesn't matter if it's belly, chest, or head.

Further out though you want the distinction that you have to be careful with your shots, especially when the headshots are concerned.

Yeah, that's one reason why it retains a higher Shield kill mark.

Like I said, while I may have taken out your Shields in 14 bullets, you've already landed your 3-4sk with your Magnum in close.

20 bullets to kill without a headshot would be too slow. and very ammo-consuming.

Plus, with the spread on the AR, random headshots would be worse than random DMR headshots.

You mean that the reach AR timing isn't consuming? It takes 19 shots and misses once per 3 shots at least. And it has no HS damage.

Then something else (potentially).
Then Sniper Rifle.

A range:power ratio that resets at DMR and asymmetrically balances when tipped in either direction.

This will never happen... but it was talked about in class about potentially making a Sniper Rifle that can only fire when scoped in to ensure that it keeps the range:power ratio it's supposed to have.

No. Also, the DMRs zoom is only at 1.3x. The AR was made to be a CQC weapon, don't pull it out of its range. It'll also make retarded kids be successful, again reintroducing no skill gap.

DMR zoom is 3x, not 1.3. Also, how would rewarding precision while discouraging spray lower the skill gap? Please don't throw the term "skill gap" around if you don't know what it means.

I have over 7000 kills with the AR. It is a terrible weapon that only works against opponents who lack both thumbs and higher cognitive faculties.
