By sharp and flame; a friend of a friend.
Oh, wait, wrong minority group, huh?
Sorry, I meant to say; That is so -blam!-
Wait, I didn't say blam , I said -blam!-.
Thats weird, Bungie is censoring the name of a minority group that finds attraction in the same gender? Thats very odd.
I guess they must also replace Jew, Black, Mexican, Asian, and mentally handicapped with the word blam.
Oh, thats just baffling. They don't seem to find those minority groups offensive.
Oh! I get it! Bungie must be censoring that little G word because people use it as an insult, or to describe something that is unwanted or negative.
Hmmm, yea, duh,I just realised I do that all the time as well... in fact, I just did, didn't I?
I wonder when we started using that single minority group as an insult and adjective for unpleasurable things.
I also wonder if Bungie would ever censor other groups such as Jews, Blacks, or even Whites, if society also began to use them as adjectives for unpleasurable things.
I mean, I know Bungie has never had a character in their book or video game series that is an open member of that censored minority group, but I doubt that that says anything about them. I doubt they have a stigma against them. I'm sure since society uses the name of a minority group in such a negative light that they wouldn't want to get involved and mention them in their products anyway, that could hurt sales after all!
I also know that much of the Halo community isn't exactly friendly towards this minority group, but I don't see that as a reason for them to censor it either. Come to think of it, quite a bit of the community is intolerable to many different groups.
I mean, that would be so Jew if Bungie decided to censor the names of other minority groups just because society started using them as a negative adjective as well.
Honestly, there are so many other words that are meant to be used in a non-offensive manner, but people still use them in offensive ways. Such as ass, or dick. But how come, if these words can be used offensively, why are they not censored as well... Only that little G word is.
Hmm... well, I was originally going to rant about there not being any collectors editions announced yet for Halo: CEA. I swear, it would be so black if 343i doesn't make a collectors edition. But, I guess its too late to make them now...
So... opinions on any of the above discussed? Do you think its right that Bungie censors that word. I mean, come on, we all know what someone means when they say, "Dude, you're so -blam!-"
Whatever, hey, who would have bought a Halo: CEA Collector's Edition?
