Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

My dad went out to buy Halo 2 at its midnight release. He played it before I did; same with Halo 3.

We played Halo CE co-op together, along with Halo 2. The only reason I have Xbox Live or a Bungie.net account is because he made a gamertag to join his work's clan on Halo 2.

My dad thinks he's too busy/old to play anymore, but I'm hoping Anniversary may bring back memories. Other than that, one of my sisters has played through Halo CE and my uncle used to play Halo 2 on Live as well.

Thall.

That's really weird. What a coincidence :P. No one in my immediate family particularly knows Bungie. My dad would play with me though, we've played all the games together except ODST (Custom games).

Halo without Bungie is like a cookie made without love.

How old are you?!

  • 10.09.2011 9:40 AM PDT

What's up? You can call me Phil. I love to play Battlefield 3!

Wow, that's pretty cool! Unfortunately, my parents don't play video games. >.>

Why hello there.

Microwave ovens are quite large.

WORT, WORT,WORT!

-NUMS!

If I asked my dad about Bungie he would think I'm talking about bungee jumping. Although he did buy an Atari and NES.

DeeJ's Challenge

I remember Christmas 2001:

My dad opened up a present that was some big black box that glowed green and came with some game about a green armored man. He wouldn't let my brother or I watch at first and finally did a few months later.

We weren't allowed to watch a few specific parts because there were these scary deformed monster things. I got to finally play for my 9th birthday!

I found out my dad had played Myth and few months back.

Also in 2001, my dad got me an xbox and Halo.

Anyone else ever wonder what it's like for two elcor to do the nasty?

"Tentatively excited: Oh. Oh. Oh. Right there."

Yeah me neither.

I have a very similar story except it was with my older brother.

None of my close family are big Bungie fans. My 2 brothers have played all the Halo games and have accounts on here, but they don't post often, or even play the games very much. My mum sort of knows who Bungie are and what they do, and my dad has had a go at playing Halo before.

Okay, listen, we should get our stories straight, all right? If anyone asks, and no one's gonna ask, don't worry, but if anyone asks, tell them as far as you know, the last time you checked, everyone looked pretty much alive, all right? Not dead.

With Bungie being around for 20 years, this was bound to happen.

What a hipster.

When I was younger "dad" and "video games" never appeared in the same sentence. Consider yourself lucky.

No kidding. I had to stop and read again when he said he wasn't born yet when Marathon: Infinity came out.

That's cool though. You guys should have something to talk about this coming year, eh?

I was actually born a year and 2 days after marathon infinity was released.

So you are 11 years old?

No Ken, that's you.

That is awesome! Your dad rocks!

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.
