I run Skirmish!!!

everything about halo 3 is better than reach, well except for the lack of firefight and the better forge in reach but other than that halo 3 is wayyy better than reach.

I'm Watching You

There is most certainly an aspect in Halo 3 that puts it so far above Reach. The fact that we are even having this conversation proves the point. Personally, I remember unboxing the game and playing the first campaign mission while talking to my friend on the phone and we were both absolutely psyched. It's crazy because that was 2007...7th grade. I'm a junior now and this is pretty nuts to think back like this.

oh my god

i missed the days were you could look on friends list and everyone was playing halo 3 that was alot easier when trying to get in a custom game then now.

Not really, Halo 3 was only ever fun in customs because MM was a lagfest, or screwing around in a full party in social. Playing with lag every game isn't fun.

Totally agree with this statement!

I don't miss anything about Halo 3 .... because I play it every week still.

I started playing it midnight release of 2007 and haven't stopped yet.

Since I don't have my hard drive atm, I miss my armies that I have assembled, including:

-Arbiters
-Elites
-marines
-marines, Elites, and Brutes
-Covenant species (The Storm)

And the saddest part of all, in the game save with marines and Elites, I have several vehicles positioned nearby for a vehicle assault on 20+ Brutes below. I never got to test it to see if it would work but it has a Wraith, Scorpion, Gauss hog, 2 Prowlers, and 2 Ghosts.

Before you gamestalk me, my H3 Exp is boosted because I'm not playing 5000 games again like I did on my main account for my 5 star. I AFKed and Grif boosted wtih supers0ak to get to Inheritor since I'm impatient when it comes to processional ranks. Nothing in Reach shows skill unless you play with the person anyways.

no.

Most players with 0.88 K/Ds don't.

I've only played H3 for 2½ years or so and wasn't there at its launch. Still, I've had incredibly much fun on this game, it's totally addictive. Playing for five hours straight is no problem at all. ;)

Battling the lag is a major issue for me, but it's nowhere near as bad as on Reach. I don't know what it is about that game that causes it to give such ridiculous advantages to some players while others can't do squat. I really only play Reach because I get totally fed up with H3's maps. Seems like you're playing on the same three maps all the time. :\

Anyway, I'm set to go into Halo 3 mode very shortly. Can't wait. :)

Ya, getting raped in Ranked then blaming it on lag must've sucked, huh?

lol yep

tbh I don't just use lag as an excuse for losing, I'm fully aware I'm bad, but it is pretty irritating when you constantly get cheated out of kills because of connection.

It's not a big deal now because I don't even play much, and when I do I just mess around in customs or social. But I'm guessing you wouldn't like playing 90% of your games on yellow bar.

As laggy as BTB was, no I don't miss it.

I do miss having nearly everyone on my FL that was playing all being on Halo 3 at the same time every time I signed on to XBL and having a ton of fun playing with them. those were great times. Haven't had anything like that since, over a year and a half now.

This is the same for me, I got Halo 3 about 2 1/2 years ago as well. I don't think I've spent as much time on any other game I've ever owned. The multiplayer is just special. No other game can have you furiously raging, screaming into your headset, and then collecting your controller from whatever corner of the room it landed in........and then do it all again five seconds later in a perfectly good mood. I miss this game having a 50000 population.
