Okay, listen, we should get our stories straight, all right? If anyone asks, and no one's gonna ask, don't worry, but if anyone asks, tell them as far as you know, the last time you checked, everyone looked pretty much alive, all right? Not dead.

Glory and fame, blood is our name!
Souls full of thunder, hearts of steel!
Killers of men, a warrior's friend!
Sworn to avenge our fallen brothers!
Sons of the gods, today we shall die.
Open Valhalla's door!
Let the battle begin, with swords in the wind! Hail Gods of War!

It is said that when the website was fist created, there was a Ninja born inside who could ban anyone at will. It was him who banned the first of us. All my life I have been searching for this Ninja. I believe that search is over.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

@Tom T: Rip Saw was a super user.

Stosh. Then he became a Bungie Employee.
Then Yoozel I believe, who is still active.

There were 3 more wasn't there. They came from a group, I don't remember that much.

Ninja History on Bungiepedia.

I was looking at bungie.net on the Internet Wayback Machine and managed to find some former forum moderators, so I captured a pic and uploaded it to the site. Of course, this was when "The Septagon" was a group rather than an official Bungie forum (even though it acted as the official place for website/group stuff), so it's up to you to determine whether these forum moderators were official or not.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

When the site flipped from the threaded view to the current forums, Stosh and Shiska were the only two non Bungie employee moderators. Kinda funny since they both went on to work for Bungie. Yoozel followed, and there was a wave of a whole bunch of people who have been gone from this site for a long time.

Although if you're talking about pre 2004, when Chapter Founders was the home of the Septagon, Yoozel and Stosh were both "staff" (chapter moderators) at the time, which was pretty much why they both became moderators early on.

Oh man, I haven't heard Rip Saw brought up in ages. He was never a moderator, just a cool dude.

-edit-

And if I got a detail or two wrong that doesn't match up with the wiki, I'd trust the wiki. I'm going off memory.

Not even b.net's secretive inner workings are as bat-blam!- insane as to trust good ol' rippy with power. That boy had issues.

I guess chris can finally sleep easy, two pages of modfappery and his name nowhere to be seen.

Brainwashing, idiotic media: "hur dur, vido gaems cas vilenc n iz nt gud. dey ned 2 b baned."

Logic: Really? Then please explain how there's violence in third world countries. I guess they're all poor due to the large amount of video games they buy.

Well when I said "a bunch of other people long gone" I meant Chris, Goweb, Reiginko etc. I just figured this thread was about people still around.

yoo•zel- ('yoo-zhul): slang: vb.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

Nope you're basically right Halo. I was Staff in Chapter Founders and it was pretty much my job to tell people that they could not be staff in some sub-par humorous way as well as conduct interviews. I was actually staff back on my old account (gasp!) and Sketch did not like having to go all the way to the end of the Chapter Founder's member list to update Yoozel when I changed accounts.

But for history's sake, Stosh and Shishka were the first moderators (who also pinned the first set of rules, stosh is totally to blame for the 'no noob' rule) and I followed in basically after the website relaunched.
