Submit you ideas for requirements to be able to post.
One I think there should be is a test you must do, read a series of rules and yadda yadda. And where to find certain things, and all that Jazz, then take the test! And if you fail... You must wait a certain period of time before you can take it again, questions will be scrambled. Removing the ability of guess and go. /\ /\

People are required to read the Code of Conduct and Terms of Use on creating a new account. They don't, however. Administering tests wouldn't really work, if the information is there to be looked up.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Uh. well you have to read the terms of use and code of conduct before becoming a member even. As for the test, meh. I think they should be able to decide if they are mature enough to post by themselves rather than having a test deciding it.

Also, who's to say passing the test will guarantee that people will obey rules, post well etc?

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

It's not exactly a public forum if you have to pass a test to post in it...

Amature Blog.
Irony: (a) The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
(b) An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
(c) A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect. See Synonyms at wit1.

Think of the ligistics(sp?) of this test, it would have to be provided in all langueges as to not be discriminatory to people and where would the benchmark be set? 50% 100%? where?

And yer as stated.

You can just not read it and move on. Do you think a check box is a legit indicator of having read it?

KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came

It isn't. Rules will always be broken, no matter what is done to uphold them.

That's like saying "don't bother looking both ways" before crossing, "you're going to die anyways." You can reduce things you know?

I know. I was just saying that someone will always break the rules.
