I didn't accuse them of being afraid of it. I accused them of homophobia. Look the term up before critiquing my use of it.
Homophobia-Fear of -blam!--blam!-s.
Often used to mean Fear, dislike or hate of -blam!--blam!-s.
Exactly. You should have done this prior to your original response, were you unsure.

Many other terms don't, so let's censor those also. "dick" is a good example.
Dick can be someone's name. Dick van -blam!- for example. Dick Cheney is another. Must I go on?
But it can be used as an insult, and should therefore be banned. This is what your view entails. I'm glad you recognise its stupidity.

Grow up. The US is drowning in homophobia. The probability that there is not a significant number of bigots within the company is regrettably small. How on earth is the censoring of "g.ay" evidence that the company is in this respect tolerant?
I didn't realize allowing -blam!--blam!-s to marry in many states was indication of homophobia.
A step in the right direction, but the fact that you emphasise that "many states" are permitting homose.xuals to marry is an indication of how homophobic your country remains. It has only just come around to the idea that homose.xuals should be able to serve openly in the military, for instance, and even that measure was strongly resisted.

Again, in any given population of people, including Bungie, there is the chance of there being a few people who are incredibly discriminatory towards -blam!--blam!-s, but Bungie is a professional company. Anyone who let their opinions come before professional duty in their jobs would not be hired, or be fired.
Professional company or not, bigotry has a habit of rearing its head even where it should formally not be permitted-as in the censoring of "g.ay", for example. Note that I don't think this was a conscious decision.

Actually, it's statistics and a familiarity with American media.
You mean your opinion.
Well, obviously: of course it's my opinion, predicated on statistics and a familiarity with American media, among other things.

By your logic, everyone that is a Muslim and lives in the middle east is a terrorist, just because there are several thousand radicals, a very small percentage of the Muslim community that commit such actions.
Exactly: a very small percentage. Unfortunately, a very high percentage of Americans are not too keen on homose.xuality, and so my inference is far from implausible.
To be honest, I get the impression that you're not advanced enough in years to carry on this exchange with the sophistication I require, so I'll leave it here.
