Huge exaggeration.
Did you even read my quote to you?
They terrformed Reach, why not Earth again?

I did read it but it is not entirely relevant to infrastructure. Terraforming is only half of it. Earth does not really need Terraforming anyway, it needs its infrastructure rebuilt. Terraforming cannot do that.

It was glassed in a few areas so put two and two together and pbbl!

Where are you going to get the resources to rebuild?

A lot of civilians escaped you know?
Plus there is the artifact in Africa.
You overexagerate. Plus the symbolic value of Earth, abandon it really?

I agree, plus this allows earth to rebuild earth smarter. Ie. better infustructure, better cities. the possibilities are endless.

It was destroyed all over,

No it wasn't.
North America was attack, Central America, They really should look into the Battle of Earth much more.

Bungie took that opportunity they had with Halo 3: ODST, and threw it out the window in favor of an extremely insignificant story taking place in New Mombasa in the time of a few hours! :D

Like I said before, Halo 3: ODST should have been about what was happening all around Earth before Halo 3! Good job, Bungie! GREAT JOB!

The same place they found the resources to rebuild and terraform Reach. They aren't pressed for time at this point as far as we know, so they don't need to be rushed.

This. I was thinking about this while reading the New Alexandria article on Halopedian.

I wish bungie would have filled us in on the month long battle for earth.

You'd think it'd be, y'know, important.
