Yes but the armor they give us could enhance that strength 30 fold. Look what the Spartans became, they were physically stronger than elites and brutes

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

I guess we would be in the front lines, above the rank of the grunts, but below the elites. Around where the Jackals are.

I think some are under estimating humans. Strength and speed are negated with weapons and equipment. Ability, intelligence and dedication would far outweigh any alien strength or speed advantages when humans had capable weapons and gear.

The vast majority of the Human-Covenant War says otherwise.

  • 10.09.2011 3:36 PM PDT

we are physically weaker than elites and brutes.
spartanIIs are the strength of elites barely. our weapons and armor suck but if we joined the covenant wed get plasma technology. we would definately try to improve it.

our status in the covenant would be the prophets pets.

if we did start out low wed be above jackals only. wed try to improve our status but this would cause problems ending with elites or brutes kicking us out. and our destruction would be assured since theyd know our major planets due to our exalliance

False. Physically AS strong as Elites. Not stronger than Brutes. Not even close.

We got to be as strong as elites with far inferior technology, with covenant technology we could be stronger than brutes

Stop saying things you have no idea about. We were only strong as Elites if we were augmented as Spartans, which we only had a handful of. Covenant tech doesn't alter strength like MJOLNIR does.

  • 10.09.2011 3:43 PM PDT

I am a monument to all your sins

due to our intelligence and relative physical endurance we would probably be just above jackals

Who won that war?

Edit: people still seem to focus on physical strength. Physical strength hasnt determined a war since the dawn of firearms. It wouldnt be much different that today. There have been strong fast well trained soldiers taken down by 13 year old kids w/ AK's.

Ongoing. Elites are still battling the Brutes in Covenant controlled space.

Nobody won, but the UNSC and Elites survived.

Fixed. And humanity didn't win it themselves, the Covenant Separatists gave us the aid to win.

-_- mojeda...with covenant tech we could make a far more advanced spartan capable of being stronger than a brute due to the fact the covenant have some forerunner technology. With the advanced technology all combat suits would become fully upgraded and more advanced with exoskeletons and all the other good stuff. The average marine would be stronger than a grunt, the odsts would be maybe 1/3 the strength of elites, and the spartans forget it. We would reverse engineer the covenant technology and implement the technology into the military to increase physical strength, edurance, reaction times, and argumentations for spartans.

Question. What would we need it for? Who would be fighting? Ever thought of that? Sentinels? Covenant do that well on their own.

Humanity was a single species fighting a conglomerate of species with FAR better technology. Vastly outnumbered and out matched right? Yet they stood against the covenant for what, 20 something years? Did any other race that was dominated by the covies fair as well?

The other species didn't have nearly as much territory as we did. Either way, we barely won and would've lost had it not been for the great Schism.

That entire thirty years, we were getting our asses handed to.
We only survived for so long because of how vastly we were spread across space.

If the Great Schism never happened, we wouldn't have made it, not even close.

  • 10.09.2011 4:21 PM PDT

We probably wouldn't be soldiers in the Covenant at all, infact we may fulfill a role similar to the San'Shyuum due to Humanity's status as Reclaimers. Knowing how overzealous the Covenant is I doubt they would sacrifice the closest living link to there Gods.

Also the only advantage we have over the Elites tactically is were not bound to a code of honor as they are. They can be lured into traps easily by that.
