There is a reason why permabanned users are not permitted to post on the main forums. To post something on their behalf could cause the poster to be banned if the moderators were to find out about it.
Don't do it.
Why?
If someone PMs me and says "I'm banned, but can you post this for me in that thread you made?", why can't I post it if it's appropriate? I'd say its because its an attempt to bypass that ban. If a user is banned, they should stay away from posting in the public until that ban is done.
I can't think of any real valid reason as to why you'd need to relay a message from a banned user via thread. They'd either have to be a "message from banned user thread", which is bad because we don't like threads made solely to convey some personal conversation. Or "this thread was (banned user)'s idea", in which case is mentioning publicly how you got around the system.
Just don't bother with it. You shouldn't need to tie someone's username to a thread for any reason. If its worthy of a discussion on its own merit, then you don't need to mention anyone else. If its not, then that thread should never have been made in the first place.
