Subject: A way of seeing your post count?

But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.

In my opinion, this is something that these Forums are missing. Every other active forum I participate in has this feature, and it's a way of seeing how much of a life you have.

But seriously, it's a useful statistic, and in a way, it could increase activity.

I know there's title bars that give a small idea on how active that user is, but it's really not the same.

Yeah, it only shows 300 post made not to accuarte if you ask me i give a thumbs up to this idea.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

Go to bungie.me

To lazy to link right now. Anyway, it'll show a PPD thing, and if you browse for long enough, you might be able to figure out your post count.

This topic was posted yesterday as well, if I'm not mistaken.

Obtain your PPD via Bungie.me and times it by the number of days you have been here for. I guess that could be fairly accurate.

That is not a count of your total posts, rather the estimated average of how many times you post per day.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Open up notepad, and every time you post, add a "1."

Really? Who would go to those extents?

It's just a simple feature that's missing. That would only show me the amount of times I've posted from this day, anyway.

By doing that, it says I've posted 12345 times. I even averaged the recent averages on bungie.me.

Do you feel that is right? The only way I can think of is to use that method. It may not be completely accurate but, assuming Bungie.me accurately counts your posts, then it is as close as you are going to get if no count feature is added to this site.

It feels like it, yes. But still, a simple number surely couldn't create that many headaches for the tech guys.

Yeah. I personally don't know how much work it would entail, but I guess it could give you an indication on how much activity you have here. I think, however, that if implemented, post count should be private, or at least have the option to choose to (much like your gamertag).

I was thinking of this earlier on. It could be displayed on your profile, only to you, with the option to make it publicly viewed.

I'd welcome B.net stats. At least it would give people an idea of how large the number is for one Googolplex with respect to my own post count.

I'd hardly consider a post count a crucial feature. Nice though. :)

the closest thing currently is Bungie.me

Well you see, if all of our posts where tracked, then people would have a better understanding of the title system. Bungie doesn't want that, so that's why it's limited to 300.

Weeeellll.... why I have a Legendary title is beyond me. It's a good week if I post at least once. So titles can't really be used to judge activity, since there are many other factors.

And as for post count, OMARRCHR probably gave the best reason as to why we don't have a post count. Since we can with decent certainty assume that some of the titles are based off of post count, having the ability to then view our post count would tell us exactly what we need to do as to unlock these titles.
