Am I the only one who thinks that when a reply is made to a "Stuck" thread that it should both move to the top of the list of stickies as well as have a duplicate of it appear at the top of the normal thread list? For example, the Bungie Mobile thread. I'm sure there's lots of questions in there that could easily be answered by other members but get overlooked completely because most people, I believe, don't bother looking at the stickies apart from maybe ON OCCASION rereading part of the Forum Rules.

In effect, putting something as a stuck thread pretty much kills almost all conversations therein (except for the Flood Library. That thing's moderately active). It's worse than putting a poll in a thread as far as killing a thread goes. Just an idea.

Discuss as usual.

This actually seems like a good idea. I've got no objections.

Probably the most positive response to a proposal I've put forth in a LONG time. :)

Best of random chance

I see no downsides, although if it does happen it probably won't be soon. Bungie's not on the b.net much, or so it seems.

This is true, but nonetheless it is right in front of us at the top of the page. People with questions concerning information that can be found in pinned topics (like the Bungie Mobile thread,) should look a little harder. Not to sound harsh, because I'm probably guilty of it too.

The idea isn't bad, but what happens when that thread 'prunes' (essentially going beyond page 1)? Kinda leaves us in the same predicament. Maybe adding pinned threads to the Top Forum Topics sidebar would help (I find myself looking there a lot), but then again it's not really a top forum topic. Weird problem. Easily solved. People should just look up :<

And yet at the same time even TFTs appear in the stream of other forums topics when responded to (I.E. Duardo's forum titles thread)

Have A Nice Day!

Commander, CammCam's Queensguard; Sapphire Mod; 34th Seat, Table of Avalon(Exiled);Captain, HAND

yolo? -blam!- that! YOLTOSS!! You Only Live Twice or Some -blam!-

I have seen mods (probably employees) unstick threads because it kills the thread immediately. This idea is a very good one.

Basically, I make the best topics ever.

Feedback!
Duardo: This thread is locked for being stupid.
cortana 5 : It's perpetually my time of the month and I'm just grouchy.
Foman: I see absolutely no reason, either theoretical or practical, that this is not a superb idea. Excellent work, my friend.

Chances are if it's pinned, the answer's been answered before. And if it hasn't been, the mods and OPs regularly check them. So good idea, but I really think it'll just cause more clutter with the same topics always being at the top.

You misunderstand. I don't mean they're ALWaYS there, just when they're responded to. Which is not that often (as is evident by the number of replies in both the render minutes and bungie mobile threads).

Good idea, it seems like one in my opinion, but I doubt the staff would put time into something like that. :/

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

I thought it already did this. Every time someone replies to the title thread it gets to the top in the regular threads just like it does in the pinned. Well, at least for me.

Those are top forum topics. Not stickies like the bungie mobile thread, render minutes thread, bungie forum FAQ, etc.

I don't see anything wrong with the idea, but I feel it's too small of a feature for the web team to even consider...but what do I know?

If at all, I'd think it's implementation would be accompanied or be a part of a much bigger update like the constantly talked about "Notifications Update" or the always impending New Hawtness.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.
