By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Just been reading through Chapter Two and I noticed something out-of-place.

PRIVATE QUARTERS OF FORMER SHIPMASTER JUL 'MDAMA, BEKAN KEEP, MDAMA, SANGHELIOS: JANUARY 26, 2553 IN THE HUMAN CALENDAR.

...

"I don't have time for this," Jul said. "I have to go to the kaidon's assembly. The Arbiter's going to be here soon."

I was under the impression that the Arbiter returned to Sanghelios on March 3rd, 2553, after attending the memorial service on Earth. Rtas says that he wants to see Sanghelios, this implies that neither of them have seen their home planet for a while.

So how can Thel be on Sanghelios in January? :S

They weren't on Sanghelios.

Edit: Never mind, fail. I read one of the states as being a different planet. You raise a valid point, Alex.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

You pay to much attention to detail, brah.

Perhaps, they were expecting the Arbiter to arrive sometime in January, but do to some untold reasons, they were not able to return untill March.

Anyways, it's Rtas that says he wants to return home, not the Arbiter. So taken in a way, the Arbiter could have returned, but not Rtas which would make this all valid.

Good, the little details are always the most important.

The Portal would have taken Thel back to Earth, so the way you put it, he'd have gone back to Sanghelios and then back to Earth again?

Wait, I've got it.

Forerunner crystal. When the Arbiter killed Truth, the shard of the crystal which Truth had been given by Tartarus (never to be seen again) fell into the Arbiter's pocket.

Wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey ensued.

Indeed they are.

It's very possible. I dosent seem likely that the Arby would have stayed on Earth for so long. It makes sense he would have left Sol to check on other Elite held systems, including Sanghelios. And when the monument of the dead in the war was inagurated, the Arbiter returned to attend since he played a great part in the suffering of the human race.

Staying on Earth for two months makes no sense for someone like the Arbiter.
