In halo 4, once you are inside the planet you find out that it is the same very planet that most of the Spartans were trapped inside of, or you were teleported to the planet where they were trapped.

Two things.

1. It isn't Onyx, Frankie confirmed it.

2. Why on Earth would the Shield World have a teleporter to another Shield World? That is a worse flaw than the thermal exhaust port on the Death Star. One Flood spore teleports and BAM, there goes the neighborhood.

Deal with it.

Is the planet just really hungry by chance? I'm sure that would explain something.

And it's possible that it could be the same place. If this does happen, I hope that they put more emotion into the other members of Blue team, unlike Noble team in Reach.

No it isn't, Frankie already said it wasn't. But please, show our evidence.

Where did Frankie say that Master Chief won't be reuniting with Blue team in Halo 4?

343 did when they said Halo: Glasslands would revisit everyone in the Onyx Shield World. Just in case you may not understand, Halo: Glasslands=/=Halo 4.

I know that Halo: Glasslands isn't Halo 4, I'm not an idiot. Still, just because the novel revisits everyone in the Shield World doesn't mean that their story ends there. There is a possibility, no matter how unlikely, that they might meet up in Halo 4.

Also it was stated on 343's website that Halo: Glasslands will contain events and scenarios that will lead up to Halo 4. This shows that there still is a possibility of it happening.

3rd line, second paragraph.

Events that lead UP TO Halo 4, not lead INTO Halo 4. An event in Glasslands may trigger something in the game like Halo: CE did with Ghosts of Onyx. But explain why Blue Team should appear in Halo 4, they would be nothing but fanservice. Besides, with a near-war against the Elites brewing up, the UNSC needs Blue Team more than Chief does.

ho knows? Besides the whole point of this thread was what if it were to happen. So we really should be talking about, what if Chief were to meet up with them? Instead of discussing the legitimacy of it happening in canon.

When it's a certainty that they won't, I don't see the point.

Then you don't have to add discussion to this topic. Nobody is going to force you to.

He's under the assumption the sphere in Halo 4 is Onyx, it isn't.

The outside of Onyx is small. Just a couple meters wide. I think the Legendary Planet is a tiny bit bigger than that.
