Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.
After seeing Commanders weekly review, I decided that it was time for something else to come back as well. That's right, the average Joes! Me and Bricy are redoing the whole thing because we thought that it was needed to be put out again. If you have any advise at all, put it in this thread
Q: Alright, How are you doing today? Have you done anything extraordinary? Are you planning on doing anything amazing today?
dmbfan09: I'm doing just super. Today was just about as ordinary as any other Tuesday: Woke up, rode my bike, took a shower, went to work, designed some stuff, got a patent, won the Nobel Peace Prize, got a Pulitzer and then went home and had lunch.
I'm sure some of that was true.
Q: Dang dmb! How are you able juggle this busy lifestyle of yours? I always thought that Bungie keeps their ninjas locked up in the basement. Is this still true or have they modified it slightly?
dmbfan09: I'm part of the work-release program that Bungie instituted a few years back, you may have heard of it in the papers. It is called "Inside-Out". Since Achronos can offer the ninja's services at such low wages, other companies cannot compete and on some occasions bribe Achronos so he will not bid on jobs. This is where Achilles comes in. You see, he was a big-time banker on the outside and knows how to launder money.
Of course, Achilles escaped with all of the money; so now I have to wear one of those ankle things at all times.
I hope to see my friend again one day.
Zihuatanejo...
Q: I'm sorry for your friend Zihuatanejo... If you ever need someone to talk to, just call 555-5555-Thisisarealnumberbro. Well Dmb, this might strike you strange but if you were to place your money on a fight between Foman and Duardo, who would you place your money on and why?
dmbfan09: Foman, because I take all of my boxing advice from Lt. Frank Drebin.
<.<
>.>
Q: Interesting. Now that we know you take your advice from Lt. Frank Drebin, did you have to box your way to become a ninja? If so, who did you have to box?
dmbfan09: Well, I didn't have to "box" anybody; but I'm pretty sure I just annoyed Reiginko to the point that he ended up nominating me when the time came so he didn't have to put up with my many PMs throughout the day.
You see, when I first became a moderator, there were (if I recall correctly) only 8 moderators on Bungie.net. Of those 8, Reiginko was the only one that was not from the US. Being an early-rising east coast American, he was really the only moderator I could inform of rule-breaking threads (this was also long before a "report" button). I'd get pretty sick of me as well.
Q: Very interesting! Now that we got that handled with, I need to know what would you do if urk proposed to you by the swan lake? Yes or no? The community gots to know.
dmbfan09: No, for two reasons:
1. I'm a guy.
2. I'm already married.
Q: Okay, how did you find Bungie.net?
dmbfan09: Well, I played Halo: Combat Evolved over a friend's house and enjoyed it. When I had seen the cinematic trailer for Halo 2 before a showing of Spider-Man 2, I figured I should check it out.
I attempted to sign up for Bungie.net at that point, but the Live system was down or something. After a couple of weeks I remember to go back and create an account.
That's all I've got to say about that.
Q: Did your friend make a BNET account as well? If he did, does he still go onto the the forums?
dmbfan09: Not that I am aware.
A weird thing happened one time when I had slept over his house when we were younger, though. He woke me up in the middle of the night flipping out and saying, "My sister was abducted by aliens!" I of course just said he was crazy, but he just kept going on and on about aliens and stuff. I don't know, his sister was never found.
I heard he works for the FBI now.
Q: That sounds very strange... Well dmb we only have time for one more question. How did you like interview? Any words of inspiration you want to give out to the community?
dmbfan09: The interview allowed me to realize how my life can only seem interesting if I place myself in 90s pop references.
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by men with moderator tools. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Mr. AwesomePizza? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for the trolls, and you curse the Forum Ninjas. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That the troll's banning, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum, you need me on that forum. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who logs in and posts under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you use the report button, and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.
That was horrible. I should be exiled for doing that... -blam!- it
