1. Human world wars
"He had expected it to be like the newsreels from the end of the Great Patriotic War, with people dancing in the streets and climbing lampposts to hoist flags, but that war had only lasted six years, however bloody the battles. People in 1945 and 2090, 2103, and 2162 could recall what peace felt like and knew what they had missed."

The dates mentioned imply more world wars amongst bickering human nations

Regarding #2, remember this is an ONI ship. They've probably been looking at Forerunner tech for decades now.

Did we really need another thread?

3. A mix of opinion amongst the sangheili race

Sadly, most of these sangheili keep leaders appear to have a distasteful opinion towards humanity as seen in thel vadams speech to them.

I feel like I am the only one that recognized that all the participents in that assembly were the elders of one keep (Mdama, in this case)? Everyone else seems to be implying that they were all kaidons of other keeps. If that was so, they would be holding such an assembly in the captial of the Sanghelios...which...actually was revealed to not exist.

That in mind, we do not know what the majority mentality is of the other keeps (Mdama's majority seems to be 'don't give a damn about humans'). Some may be sided with Thel, while others side with Telcam. We just don't know what the rest of the keeps think (and of course I know that it would be unrealistic to cover them all :/).

I do like Raia though: she's a woman with a good head on her shoulders.

However, Margaret Paragonsky, head of the ONI wants to weaken the sangheili so the humans can crush them.

The vibe I got from the ONI side of things is that they are taking after Cerberus from ME2: they want humanity to be top dog, flat out. It is sounding like to me that the mantle of 'reclaimer' has gotten to their collective heads and that can only mean bad things down the road.

I'm sorry, but that post is just hilariously stupid, the "want/desire" thing lol. We were all speculating about what happened in that chapter and the previous ones, and it has around 90 replies lol. You could've just posted in that one lol.
