Tonight the Bungie Community lost an outstanding member of its community.

DEATHPIMP72, or DP for short.

I have know DP for several years now, and I have played countless hours of Halo and CoD with him. DP was always a happy and cheerful man. He loved to game, he loved being on Bungie, and he loved his family.

He will be missed.

Right now I bet him and ~B.B. are starting their first LAN game. RIP.

As fair warning for anyone who tries to disrail this thread, you have been warned.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Rest in peace, Chris. I'm gonna miss those late-night, drunken gaming sessions, and your "immature" sense of humor that I could always relate to. I can't believe you're gone, but you better -blam!- ing believe you're not getting out of buying me a beer that easily. I can wait till I meet up with you.

(m)'s, homie.

Hi.

R.I.P.

How'd you find out, anyways?

  • 10.14.2011 9:47 PM PDT

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

You have my condolences.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

My condolences go out to his family, it's a terrible loss to them and everyone that knew him well. Judging by his signature, he seemed like the kind of person I would have enjoyed the company of. May he rest peacefully.

Oh no. He was a great guy. Always joking around and laughing.

This is terrible news.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I remember seeing him on the forums. I never really spoke to him, but i certainly recognised him. He will be missed.

RIP.

Even though I have never played or seen DP, he sounds like a really fun-loving, lovable guy coming from the comments in this thread. It's always sad to see a member from a family die. RIP DP

Only after we ban Bricypoo.

This actually reminds me of something that happened where I live.

A friend of my Grandmother's had a grand son (I believe) die some what recently. She said at the funeral that a guy from Texas (I live in Michigan) had actually flew all the way up here for the funeral, even though he had never met him. He said that he had played with the guy online and he was the nicest guy he had ever met before, and that he thought he needed to come all the way up here to share that with the grieving family/friends.

I found this to be a extremely interesting story about how relationships on the internet can really impact other people. This story is a lot like the situation right now. I hope his family reasons how much of a impact his son has made to people even from the internet.

I don't believe this.

Obviously it's true, but I cannot fathom...

Rest in peace, Deathpimp.
