R.I.P. DeathPimp. Never Ending Respect.

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."
I can't even begin to say how much Deathpimp has impacted my life -- for the better.
I met him through bungie.net after being accepted into a private chapter. From the moment we began quoting eachother, the magic flew. Insult to insult, game to game, we were always screwing around and having a great time. We playtested eachothers maps, we played a hell of a lot of halo and COD.
If any of you recall when Bungie started implementing community made Halo 3 maps, Deathpimp created 'Punishment'. I remember a few times going through his map and helping him with the spawns, telling him it was all horrible [as a joke] and that he's a terrible map maker. Man we were so silly to eachother. He even made a map called 'p00pshoot', the defending base was a giant toilet bowl. To plant the bomb, you had to fight your way up to the top and drop through the 'water'. it was great. it was fun.
Random fun memories include;
1. checking out 'p0rn0 flicks' in the back of the map 'Derailed' on Mw2
2. Playing Spec-ops on Mw2 and yelling at eachother constantly
3. Playing through halo and yelling at eachother constantly
4. playing through Gears of War 3 three nights in a row on insane mode, 4 player co-op, and yelling at eachother every time one of us was downed.
5. PAX 2010-
him buying me a drink
him slapping a sticker on the spoiler of a ridiculously modified car while the driver was still inside
him slapping my butt and commenting on how good i looked in skinny jeans
Qdoba
His laugh
His cursing
Watching him play Mortal Kombat
more and more.
He really defined what it was to be a great friend in many other ways too.
Whenever i needed a helping hand, he was right there. Whenever i needed someone to talk to, he was right there. He was like an awesome uncle... one that i barely saw but loved as much as any family member
There's so much more i want to say, so much more time i wish i could have spent with him in person or on game.
You'll never be forgotten, Chris. You're an amazing person, and i'll miss you.
