Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

The pistol should have a slight inacurracy when it comes to the longer ranges. However this increases the I don't shoot where I aim aspect. It probably will make the dmr and nr able to fill their roles better as long-distance rifles.

Or raise amount bullets needed to kill target. Or increase amount of bullets needed to kill target depending on distance.

I'm just saying.

Everybody wants some.

Definitely. I think it should be DMR/AR starts like Team BRs on Halo 3, with magnums as pickups.

If you would like to know more about Mythic difficulty please go to this thread. Thank you.

Please do not send me "recruitment messages" as I'm not interested in joining any groups currently.

Personally I believe that the aiming skill gap is widened providing that base movement speed is increased slightly and that loadouts are restricted to DMR only spawns.

Starting witht he Magnum and having slow movement speed really only make things more consistent, which does still minimise randomness leaving the outcome more in the hands of the players.

Not really, nothing muched has changed, except allowing for more spamming.

You can spam too, so now its whoever actually aims wins.

Granted due to slow movement speed its hard to strafe but if the movement is increased to 110 or 120 then you are good.

It seems like most people here think so... So why so much hate about it? I'm sure they will do something about the magnums

  • 10.15.2011 8:20 AM PDT

whats bloom
ps i know this sounds stupid but everyone hates it and i dont know what it even is

Its not my actions that define me, but under what light I'm being looked upon.

bigger skill gap = less fun for the worse players so they stop playing, average players then quit because they are now the worst players and die a lot. outcome we end up with a small boring halo community of elites, fair, yes, boring and repetative, yes.

  • 10.15.2011 8:43 AM PDT

no, it actually doesn't. It actually took skill to pace your shots correctly and know when to spam, and when not to spam.

imo, 75-85% bloom is the way to go.

This. The magnum's RoF is so fast that you don't need to track a target. Also, the movement speeds are still full of fail. IMO, the problem of slow movement speed is even worse with no bloom.

If trueskill worked, uneven matches would be rare.

Slippery slope argument.

Yes. The overall skill level of Reach players has increased at least somewhat since the TU.

halo 3 didn't have the problems i've listed because it had ranked and social but I fear no bloom may cause what I've already mentioned.

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

I don't even know why I quoted you, I just meant to reply with no quote to the OP.

Forklifts never die. They're just missing in Forge.

I guess it is, but I only played one match of the beta.

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Nope. Pacing got beaten by spamming most of the time, it was too effective. Remove bloom, and you actually have to aim to land a shot and not get lucky.

And in the video you linked, the guy was one shot and he still took another 9 to kill him. Spamming > Pacing.
