Definitely. I think it should be DMR/AR starts like Team BRs on Halo 3, with magnums as pickups.

That is what it needs to be. The pistol has turned into a power weapon with the ZB games. DMR/AR is the way to start things out in the ZB game types.

I agree there should be a couple magnums just laying around as power weapons

ATTENTION MODERATORS. My latest ban (14-day ban from Qbix89) is not legitimate, take a look for yourself. Please review this before considering me a "repeat offender". Thank you.

Yes, simply because it takes away one less "random" factor.

That being said, I don't enjoy 0% Bloom more than 85% Bloom, simply because Halo: Reach doesn't have the recoil mechanics of previous Halos. Halo: Reach needs Bloom to have each and every asset of the game function correctly. It's a horrible truth.

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

I think ZB, will be great for SWAT. As

I think all other playlist should have the 85% Bloom.

Im not a big fan of the Zero Bloom, becasue it then becomes a skill who can pull the trigger faster, not so much with aiming.

bigger skill gap = less fun for the worse players so they stop playing, average players then quit because they are now the worst players and die a lot. outcome we end up with a small boring halo community of elites, fair, yes, boring and repetative, yes.

yep, because doom, quake, CS, halo CE and halo 2 all have miniscule player bases completely devoid of bad players

not true at all, since bloom helped those with bad aim. think of the shotgun and the sniper from previous halo games. which was easier to use? the shotgun, but far, because it's a lot easier to put a large reticle over a target than a small one. if you can't keep your reticle anywhere near the person who you're shooting it, it doesn't matter how fast you pull the trigger, because the bullets won't go anywhere near him

I personally think they should keep bloom in swat, because it rewards the player who was more careful with their first shot.

This is a good point.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

How can it decrease it?

No.

Timing your shots rythmatically, while waiting for recoil to reduce in order to outplay the idiot firing as fast as they can seems to be more skillful then who shoots first.

Just saying, dmr battles have always seemed more intense then br battles too me, because there was more to keep track of in combat. More of a thrill.

But apparently, I'm weird because I actually enjoyed the weapon balance of reach.

But no matter what happens, the pistol always needs bloom. Too broken.

I can agree with that. Though medium range seems to be most affected by bloom. Specifically head shot weapons at a longer range. I guarantee that without the bloom, the Dmr will become more of a long range weapon then a medium range weapon. What's easier, a headshot with a sniper rifle, or a headshot with a shotgun?

This isn't Halo 3 nor is it meant to be played identical to Halo 3. This is Halo Reach and it is different.

Okay, listen, we should get our stories straight, all right? If anyone asks, and no one's gonna ask, don't worry, but if anyone asks, tell them as far as you know, the last time you checked, everyone looked pretty much alive, all right? Not dead.

85% is perfect for the DMR in Reach. Tone the nades down I will be happier than bloom.

I thought I would like ZB playing a lot of Arena but I think the bloom makes a skill gap with the average player. When you are an Onyx player and play other Onyx regularly you would see the gap.

I to get frustrated when I get spammed close quarters by a not so great player but usually I am at fault for putting myself in that position.

Zero bloom basically removes the complexity of skill required for precision.

So, no.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Yes

The reticule is still the same size either way if you're doing it right. So I don't get what you're saying.
