Maybe bungie, during the hundreds of hours of playtesting, simply didn't notice this feature? You know, I realise that they are a company extremely experienced in multiplayer gaming, but maybe they had a lapse into absolute bat-crap stupidity, and simply overlooked this 'problem'.
Or maybe, you have nothing to worry about, because Bungie aren’t as stupid as everyone assumes they are. When kicked out, your flung a significant distance away, so, its the skill level of the driver, or the skill level of the opponent, that results in either retaking the vehicle, or it speeding off. A ghost's boost, and the simple logic of human beings, means that the continual taking and retaking of a vehicle will only happen if both parties are equally skilled, and don’t think to actually just attach a grenade, or shoot the fudge out of each other.
Basically, its possible it can happen, but it wont be an epidemic. Simply because most people aren’t stupid, and wont just incessantly take and retake the vehicle in an endless loop. You'd throw grenade, or shoot the ghost. This is also excluding the most likely scenario, that people will be skilled enough to evade getting their vehicle retaken. IGN only played the game for an hour, so it was bound to happen initially, but after a while people will just get to good at evading a retake.
Whatever the case, everyone should just marvel in how damn cool the game is shaping up to be. Its combat evolved, evolved. If you don’t like it, don’t play it, Neanderthal.
