Hey how do you upload Halo videos and clips to Youtube? Im not sure how to do it. I do have a capture card but I kinda dont want to use it with my 360 because it doesn't support HDMI.

Your an absolute saint if you can help me. Thanks!

I use a capture card like the HD PVR, render it out in a program, then upload to youtube. Really easy process.

Im in the same boat as KGB. But how do you buy render minutes and are they expensive? Do you really have to buy something to put a video on youtube or is their any other possible way?

Oooo you're gna die!

You dont need it to support HDMI to capture properly. Just use the RCA cables, edit your captured gameplay and then upload onto your youtube account

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

Render minutes are quite cheap, 5 dollars for 50 minutes. Once theyve been rendered they can be downloaded to the computer and then uploaded to youtube

I changed usernames to match my gamertag. My original account, wambo114, was created when I got xbox live. I'm a 2007 kid really!

The easiest and cheapest way (in the short/medium run) is just to buy render minutes. Render film on Bnet. Download from Bnet. Upload to youtube.

However this is the most limiting option, as obviously you can only put up stuff from halo. If you want to do other games as well you can either get an external capture device - like the hdpvr - or an internal one, like the black magic intensity pro. these will set you back about £150 ($250 ish dollars (maybe :S)) but will enable you to capture HD video from any game.

The disadvantage of the capture devices are the cost, the fact that you aren't supporting Bungie ;) , and they can be quite a bugger to set up, store the footage (it eats up a lot of space) and then edit and render your film.

that's just my opinon though, I have never owned a capture device, but i have looked into buying one in the past. :)

Hauppauge HD PVR is a great external unit to capture video from your Xbox or PS3 directly to your PC. Simple to use and captures Xbox at 780p and PS3 at 1080p.

Works with Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows Vista or Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit).
