Subject: Deleted Maps in Forge

Dear Bungie, I'm theCH13F117 and a huge Halo fan. Recently I was making a map on Forge, I saved it then left. The next day it copies onto one of my suckish maps and now I can never play it again. This has happend to me twice to my two best maps. If this has happened to any body else text me via Xbox or Bungie.net account. Please fix this problem in the upcoming update. If possible please get my maps back.

"Bet you can't stick it"

This has happened to me before. Also Bungie can't fix this, now that 343i has control.

Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

Bungie no longer has control over the Halo Universe. Go to Halo Waypoint for any questions, complaints, or help with the Halo games. 343 Industries now runs Halo.

Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.

(If it's gone, there is probably no way of getting it back).

Oh yeah, I forgot Bungie signed a ten year contract with Activision.

I don't think that has anything to do with Halo...

That has everything to do with Halo.

Bungie broke way from Microsoft. Microsoft owns Halo.
Therefore, Bungie cannot make Halo.

I found out how your maps get deleted. Its whenever you dont name a forge map and just leave as "Forge World". Whenever you do that it copies onto your most resent forge map and saves.

No, it has nothing to do with Halo. Bungie already knew that they were done with Halo before they signed.

If a Grunt has a sticky stuck to his head, and no one is around to see or hear it, does it still run in circles screaming,"Get it off, Get it off !"?

Bungie broke away from Microsoft and still made Halo. Microsoft always owned Halo. Therefore, Bungie still can make Halo. Bungie is not contractually obligated to, though they could if they please (I'm still hoping for Halo 7).

No, they can't make or sell a Halo game. Why? Because Microsoft owns the Publishing Rights to Halo. No one except Microsoft can publish and sell a Halo game.

Bungie made ODST and Reach as a private company only because Microsoft made a deal/contract with them: Quite Simply, "Bungie could make games, but only Microsoft could publish them." This is how they made ODST and Reach. But now that deal is expired.

The only way that Bungie could make Halo games again is if they signed a new contract with Microsoft.
Seeing that they've signed a 10 year contract with Activision, that isn't going to happen.

Face it, Bungie will never make another Halo game. Bungie has even stated that they don't want to make any more Halo games. I'm sad too, but we have to accept that.

Back on topic: If your maps are gone, they are likely gone forever. Try asking 343 Industries for help, as they're the ones handling the Reach servers now.
