I got a B.net private message, and my phone alerted me!

It's the simple things that make me happy... :)

Ooo. Sent messages for messages I had already sent on Bnet. That's nice..

Yeah, maybe it will be in the "New Hawtness".
Failed to quote, too lazy to fix.

i find it annoying that when i try to view my Reach stats it just opens the bungie mobile website. i might just uninstall this crap. I already have a reach stats app(that is far better than bungie mobile site) and i have an app for xbox live friends. this is basically useless except for some wallpapaers.

disappointing, as i was expecting a better app.

Think you could upload it somewhere? I've been looking for a new wallpaper.

What's the point of using the app over just pointing your browser to b.net? This isn't iOS, Android's browser is actually fully functional.

Mainly the fact that you can access messages/chat and your friends list, which you can't get to from the mobile version of B.net. Also it's a foundation for stuff for Bungie's next game to be built onto.

I'm not sure if I could.

You rule. And that is one pretty looking logo. Can't wait to see what it's for.

Just got it, the layout looks cool and better than the Iphone version, but I dislike that when you click Halo Reach stats, it sends you to the website.

This is my only real gripe about the app, love it otherwise!

I think I'm going to make it red, just because it might look amazing-er.

Who said anything about the mobile version? If you've got a remotely modern smartphone and you're still using mobile versions of sites you're doing it very wrong. It's like buying a kindle and then using it to prop up a book.

Are there any differences between the Android Application and the iPhone Application?

:-)

I hope not, or I'll have to pitch a fit.

I don't have a question about the Android Bungie.net app;
however, I am wondering if there will be a Windows Phone
version of the app.

On Waypoint I'm rocketFox;

Old GTs; RebelRobot, Flamedude

I'm hoping that eventually stats will be part of the app, not just a link to the mobile site. Its quite a nice app though, long time coming.

I think Android users have some backgrounds that iOS users do not, and vise-versa:

iPhone (Taken from my phone)

Android (Taken from Android Market page)

How come I still have to go on the main site to post to forums? I thought that would be on the app!

δόξει τις ἀμαθεῖ σοφὰ λέγων οὐκ εὖ φρονεῖν.

Euripides, Bacchae. 480.

Just use the full site. There's no need for an app.

Perhaps they will implement that in the future. For now, we should be happy with what we have.

Also, thank you for sharing that, Sonic343.

Sure you can use the full site, but it's not designed for a phone interface, thus it's harder to use quickly. All that pinching and zooming, it's just so awkward!
