What? I usually click 'more' and click "permalink to this post"That was a little bonus I threw into the Coup d'Bungie 5 script. If it's not working for some reason, then there's probably a bug.
Without scripts, here's some methods you can use for permalinks.
A) Copy the address from either the "reply" or "edit" buttons, or "message user" link. You'll see that it looks something like this: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/createpost.aspx? postID=66917717&act=reply. Now, take the number from the underlined portion of the link and put it into this link http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID={postID}, substituting {postID} for the numbers. You now have your permalink.
B) Find the post you want to permalink, click reply, then click cancel. The URL in the address bar should now point to the post.
C) The results on a search page (post history, general search, etc...) are always permalinked to the post they point to.
D) If you visit the mobile site I set up, you'll see that each post has a permalink at the bottom. If you click that, you'll be redirected to the post on that site, but because of the way it's set up, all you need to do is replace the bnetmobile.site90.net part of the URL with bungie.net. Don't copy the permalink itself though.
