what was the point of letting Halo go?so they could ditch the best selling video game series to make crappy Ipad games.
bungie complained that Microsoft was stifling their creativity.
Active as if they owned the game (which Microsoft did).
And expecting bungie to participate in PR events (hence now no E3 nor Tokyo - no Microsoft to force bungie to communicate).
Microsoft said fine - go. bungie got their freedom in 2007, but had to finish of reach under contract (and boy, can you tell).
and what have bungie done since 2007 - not much.
bungie didnt even make this game - they just put their name down as [cough] publisher. And yes, in a market which produces 6 new games a day, bungie has published just 1 in 18 months (of aerospace life).
Oddly enough HBS is run by one of Stick Petes (bungie aerospace boss man) past partners ... a friend who owed a favour for a past "bees" project (anyone ever hear of that either?)
So bungie the publisher ... the great name ... after 18 months is only able to attack 1 title, and thats from a close friend.
As to the games quality ... dont be too harsh.
Its an mobile game market. These things are created within weeks and make NO money ... what part of that business model screams quaility. You have got to take it for what it is.Wrong >.> Bungie created Halo they sold it to Microsoft to get the funds to release it in doing so made a contract between them where Bungie had to create 6 Halo games. Even though they didn't create Halo Wars it got counted and the contract ended with Halo: Reach which is why Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach were rushed and are both trash. So yea :)
