A game with a second disc for multiplayer of the precious game? Is it me or does that sound like ODST?
Its not a bad thing. Just when i got on gamestop to look at the pictures of Halo Anniversary i saw pictures of Halo Reach on different maps. So can i get some kinda confirmation?

No i dont really think so. Its a single disk that has some of the best halo multiplayer maps from all of the games, remastered for anniversary. But "best" was decided by Bungie.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

It's almost exactly like ODST except somewhat worse. It's basically Reach's ODST, except where ODST at least brought a new story to the table, CEA is just a game you most likely already have, except only half of that game because it doesn't have it's multiplayer. So it's kind of like half of a game plus half of another game in Reach's multiplayer, but you already kind of own both halves of it if you have CE and Reach.

Its better to burn out than fade away...

nothing comes easy....think about it ;)

At first when i read the description for the game, i thought it said that it had maps from CE and 2 remastered and could be played on Reach.

Guess i was wrong *shrug*

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

Except for, you know, the updated graphics still running on the Halo: CE engine, not the Reach engine...

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

No, it's all on one disc.

To play devil's advocate

ODST = new story
CEA = 10 year old game with shinny new graphics

But i'm excited for the release.

I don't see why it matters if its Halo:CE remastered. That was a brilliant game and i've always said that i would love to play it again with up to date graphics so i will buy it in a heart beat just on that merit. The fact that its got better sound, achievements and kinect functionality is fantastic. You can't fault it but if you really have something against it remember; YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT!! Quit your complaining!!!! There are other great games coming out this autumn any way.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

At least we know what we're getting with CEA. ODST was basically a prototype for what we got in Reach.

The sad part being that ODST did it better than Reach.

I'm also pretty sure it's all on the same disc, it's going to be an awesome game.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

It's all on one disc.

Unlike Halo 3: ODST it will not be released as a 'full-priced' game at only $40 US. Also it does not have the maps from Halo Reach, but uses Halo Reach's Multiplayer with 7 new maps. Although I wouldn't exactly call them new. Basically they are the best of the old maps that you can no longer play on Xbox Live (and never could with CE).
The Campaign, which is on the same disc, is a remake of the original Halo game with modern graphics and some extra things. Even though I still have my copy of Halo 1, I still want this game. Halo CE was and still is the best Halo game to date. If you never played the original, you really should get this otherwise you would be missing out. Just remember though, it is a 10 year old game.

thkz for the confirmation. with this topic Idiotman98 is most deff getting the new and improved Halo CE. just one more question. will be still be able to customize our spartan/elite in the Halo Reach muli maps on Halo CE? like certain helmets and stuff or do we got to stick to basics?
