Subject: What I hope doesn't happen to Halo 4...

"Shine on you crazy diamond..."

(In response to grey101) All of your above statements were quite bold and were all incorrect. I want them to take risks and I would've liked Halo Wars if they worked longer on the script. I guess you missed the entire point of my post. I would've loved Halo Wars if they worked on the script, story, and characters longer. The gameplay was fine and I understood the plot just fine but compare it to any of the other Halo games and it is a disappointment. Also remember I am entitled to an opinion as are you, but don't go shooting in the dark making guesses about why I don't like certain games because 89 percent of the time you'll be off.

"Shine on you crazy diamond..."

Also why would you go and insult my intelligence with your "5. didn't understand the plot." point. I'm actually a bit ticked off because I was just making a friendly post and then some "Fabled" member replies and mocks me. I understand all the Halo games and have grown up with them. I just did not like the poor cardboard cut out of a story in HWs (my opinion).

Like grey said, I'd like some stealthy moments....like a huge Sentinel drifts silently just twenty metres above you, and John has to seek cover in heavy foliage.

I'd like to see the BR return. I'm sorry for those of you who prefer the frankly disappointing DMR, but I truly do like the feel and groove of that ol' BR55.

I guess what I'm hoping for is that the UNSC doesn't make much of an appearance...I want this to be a "you on your own" game for the most part.

You do understand that even bungie said the BR was a massive flaw. you have to make sure all 3 pellets hit each shot or your done for.

The DMR is far more reliable.

The DMR is a laughing stock. Single shot rifle. 15 bullets per Mag. The power of each bullet is laughable. No wonder Reach fell...

Whereas the BR packs much higher power, is a slightly smaller weapon, has surprisingly minimal recoil, and can kill a fully shielded Spartan-II with MJOLNIR Mk.VI with a mere four bursts (that would take less than two seconds).

The Battle Rifle is very clearly a superior weapon to the Designated Marksman Rifle.

Plus in gameplay, the BR is more fun to use. Obviously that's just my opinion, but to my knowledge, there's a 50/50 split in terms of players who like the DMR and those who prefer the BR.

Fire.

I love when people think the BR is overpowered. It only seems like that because people are good with it. Do you complain about the DMR being overpowered too?

If by "reliable" you mean having to get a headshot rather than being able to get a burst shot to the body to finish off an opponent, yes.

I DO have time to bleed...i just dont want to.

lol if the BR kills an armourd spartan in 4 bursts imagine what it would do to an anarmour civillian, it would probably blow them into little bits with one burstlol maby not but that would be funny

bring the br back remove all armour abilities it ruined the game slowed it down completely that was the problem with reach it was slow and it did not feel like a halo game and before anyone complains about me not being able to "adapt" i adapt fine and can use them all just do not like them
