Radiohead have more songs that are good than these bands. In my opinion at least. But if you're a big Radiohead fan then I can't see metal being a natural progression.

Iron Maiden is one of the best bands ever and one of the formers of modern heavy metal. It is a lot better then Radiohead. In my eyes or should I say ears...

Hmm... not quite sure I am more of a progressive metalhead. Stuff like Therion, Symphony X, Nightwish, etc. But hmm... 2 Minutes To Midnight I have been listening to that quite alot recently and The Trooper.

maybe you havent heard all of Radioheads CD's. dont judge what you hear on the radio, because they dont play their best songs because "Their not radio friendly". If you can, buy The bends, Hail to the Theif, and Ok Computer. those cd's kik major ass.

I listen to all those bands, and still love Radiohead. When I was younger I only listened to music that fit into the genres I liked, such as metal and rock, and ignored and discredited any other type of music, no matter how good it was. I discovered however, that by doing this I was ignoring a huge amount of top quality music, and now listen to a huge range of music, from dance, electronica and drum and bass, through classical and instrumental, to metal, hardcore and prog rock.

It is my dream that someday everyone can have such an indiscriminating view upon music, and everything is appreciated for its own worth. Especially Radiohead.

I am into metal and industrial so Radiohead is not really my type of music.

dont pick a catagory to listen too. just listen too whatever floats your boat. I listen to Radiohead, Matthew Good, 3 Days Grace, Finger 11, Incubus, OLP (our lady peace), and muh, much more. as you can see, theres no set category (exept no rap).
