They're called text markup tags, dude. You know, that box of handy little self-explanatory words to put in your posts, in this case, links?
Sometimes the obvious needs to be stated.
uh oh...i checked and i have...Service Pack 1!!!! AHHH!!!!!! (please ignore my panicky voice...)
anyways, can you give me a direct link to d/l ing the SP2? microsoft.com is so confusing...
and also, what benefits does the SP2 give? better gaming experience? (i sure hope so), or a better virus/spyware protection? better configuration options? all of the above? or none, please i need to know what exactly it doesOh, boy, where to begin. Okay, first, the benefits of SP2.
Better security, a pop up blocker, network protection, memory protection, improved email security, and safer browsing. A whole lot of good stuff that will help you out.
Now tell me, what's your graphics card? Is it 256 mb? If so, I do not recommend you take Service Pack 2. Don't pretend to be dramatic and say stuff like "omg if i don't dload dis my computer is going to exploed (please ignore panic in my voice)", when it's seems you've been going fine without it. Service Pack 1 is not a bad thing.
See, here's the thing. There's an incompatibility issue between Service Pack 2, Halo PC, and high-end computers. Now, if you've got one of those crappy integrated chipset computers, you're fine. You have anything better though, like a 256 mb card, then we have the problem. Halo PC shuts off after you turn on the application unless you download the patch and start the game again, but then all of your files (player profiles, gametypes) become useless and you can't use them with your new SP2 installed Halo PC. At least that's what happened to me.
