I find it sad how everyone has to complain about armour effects just because they inconvenienced them one time in matchmaking. "oh my god someone used armour lock so my grenade spam didn't kill them, we should nerf it!!!1!!" seriously? grow up.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

The Regen in Halo 3 was annoying, but AL is worse.

i say good and bad, if your good with it, its awesome but if you suck, then your gonna get mad with it and rage quit so i say yes and no

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE can be "good" with Al, even a brain dead monkey, all you have to do is hold down the button and hope you get your sorry ass saved by a team mate.
It's bad, promotes reckless gameplay with a get out of jail free button and takes NO skill to use.

yes it does take some degree of skill considering is someone chuks a nade then ppl use armr lock as soon as its thrown and if not timed correctly, they just got raped and to that extent not saying its not like mission impossible just sayn that ppl spam it all the time and it annoys the hell out of everybody and ppl get pissed off when they use armr lock and end up dying, thats all im sayn

Armor lock slows down the game on top of an already moderately slow paced game. A 3d fighting genre 1 second block would have sufficed.

Today is a good day to be a Spartan

It is definitely BOTH...

Have seen several people use it as it was designed and intended to be used, and OWN the game, with 30 plus kills in a game.

And with so many others, I'd say the majority of people, use it as a crutch, and stay in it way too long and end up getting killed anyway, usually team killed.

I personally have only used it a few times during MM since getting the "Pop and Lock" Achievement.

Side Note: There is a new achievement regarding AL coming out with CEA. Assassinate a player that has just come out of AL.(See HaloWayPoint for further)
This should make a lot of people think twice about choosing it at the start I think.....
