(reposted in the proper forum, sorry about that; been a long time since I last posted on the forums)

I've been watching Achievement HORSE for a long time, and with their recent in-house tournament kicking off, I was interested in playing and setting up a HORSE tournament, and figured that this was a good place to find those interested.

My current plan is to run a single-elimination tourney with at least eight players, and a rotating selection of HORSE maps. I'll be modifying the maps so that up to 14 people can observe the match in question. Time permitting, I'd also like to take the matches, upload them to YouTube, and maybe even add commentary.

Right now,I'm only trying to gauge interest to see if its worthwhile to peruse, so if you would be interested in playing, drop a message here. If there's enough players, I'll work on setting up the tourney, tweaking the maps to allow observers, initial seeds, and selecting first set of maps. Spots are first come, first serve.

I've run Halo tournaments between friends before, although this is the first time with HORSE, so it will be a bit of a learning experience.

Remember Elk

If you get the people together and it is held under at a good time then this sounds like a good idea.

I've got a couple of maps picked out already. I'll be running through them with a friend to get a base time. My current thought is that each round will have a strict time limit (15-20m) for the challengers to complete it. If they fail to complete, both challengers gain a letter, and play continues to the next round.

Some discussion will be needed on how best to structure it (i.e., actually do HORSE or PIG due to time, etc.).

Just an update, have two confirmed, and have tested and played through two maps which aren't too difficult and can be completed in a reasonable amount of time; still looking for more players though.
